The name of this itinerary derives from the routes taken by Beato Nunzio Sulprizio da Pescosansonesco to inspire his poems and writings.
It is an extraordinary circular ring route; it combines those of Campo Imperatore with those of the Ramo dei Monaci (Monks' Branch) and fortified villages.
