From the square of Carapelle Calvisio (877m) follow the downhill Via Cesare Battisti, crossing the medieval town up to an arch and a square with buildings in ruin. Turn right and you will find yourself outside the walls. Turning right, you will go out of the walls. An uphill asphalt road leads to another road offering a wonderful view of the historical town center, behind which you will see Castelvecchio Calvisio, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, and Rocca Calascio.
