An exciting adventure plunged into nature, between history and legend, hermitages, and castles. Stop in Civitella del Tronto. For the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, we will go in search of loneliness of the hermitages… but not those of Maiella!
FIRST DAY – THE HERMITAGE AND PORCHIE (difficulty level: 5 – average)
Panoramic itinerary in front of the dolomitic Porchie, the Hermitage of Sant'Angelo in Volturino, the Lake, the caciare (dry stone huts), and the view on the Gorges!
SECOND DAY – S. MARIA SCALENA AND THE ARCHANGEL (difficulty level: E average/EE)
Adventures in the Salinello Gorges… between nature, the sacred, history and legend.
In the afternoon, visit to the fortress and the hamlet of Civitella del Tronto.
THIRD DAY – HERMITAGE OF S. MARIA MADDALENA (difficulty level: EE)
Among the rocky pinnacles of the Montagna dei Fiori and overlooking the Salinello gorges… in the kingdom of the golden eagle!
