Foliage on Monte Cappucciata with chestnuts and wine

With Martinmas approaching, our unmissable hiking appointment is on the summit of Mt. Cappucciata, through beech forests dressed in amazing red and yellow. From the summit we will enjoy a breath-taking, 360° view of Abruzzo's main mountains and, upon our return, we will be welcomed with chestnuts and new wine at Voltigno hut and holiday farm.

Duration: 4 hours (loop hike)
Participation fee: €20 + €20 for the standard menu + optional €5 for the second course
Leashed dogs allowed
Menu: ham, two first courses (hand-made gnocchi and ravioli with sheep ricotta), chestnuts, new wine, dessert and coffee (optional second course: meat from the grill)

Required equipment: hiking boots and suitable socks, layered clothing, hut, neck warmer, gloves, wind/waterproof jacket, filled bottle, snacks; hiking poles recommended.
