From Campotosto follow the road to L'Aquila and Capannelle Pass up to the point where the latter crosses Rio Fucino (1,355m), shortly before Santa Maria Apparente Church and cemetery. Here (700m from the town center, about ten minutes on foot), park the car and take on foot a bumpy carriage road running along the left bank of the stream. Farther on, cross the watercourse and go ahead in a dull plateau direction Laga.
