The Antiquarium is situated in the underground premises of the ancient monastery housing today the Park Authority: it preserves finds coming from Grotta a Male in Assergi, as well as from the excavations of Santa Maria di Assergi and Camarda.
It houses objects dating back to the Paleolithic, Neolithic, and Bronze Ages, including flint tools, ceramics fragments, and rests of wild animal bones, like bear, red deer, and chamois.

Furthermore, the recreation of a tomb from the 3rd century before Christ coming from the necropolis Vestina di Bazzano is present.
The exhibition of the finds is equipped with didactic panels and pictures representing the moments of life of the small communities who lived in the western area of Gran Sasso.

Opening times: CLOSED
